12. Troubleshooting
Fault Cause Remedy
The unit does not switch
on.
• The electricity supply is not
properly connected.
• The electrical safety device is
defect.
• The front lid is not closed
properly.
• The motor is overheated.
• Check the electricity supply.
• Check the safety device.
• Close the front lid.
• Let the motor cool down. Switch on the power
switch again.
The disc jams.
• Not enough water pressure.
• The quantity of water flowing
to unit is incorrectly set.
• The water supply is not fully
opened.
• The spraypipe is blocked.
• Open the water supply.
• Increase the water supply to the trimmer.
• Open the water supply.
• Clean / de-scale the pipe.
Water sprays out of the
trimmer opening.
• Too much water.
• The water drainage is not
functioning properly.
• Reduce the water supply to the trimmer.
• Check if the drainage pipe is attached
properly (gradient).
The disc is wobbling.
• Disc is not lying flat against
the joint.
• Disc has not been tightened
sufficiently.
• Refit the disc according to the instructions.
• Hand-tighten the disc.
No water. • Water supply is not properly
connected.
• Spraypipe is clogged.
• Check the water supply.
• Clean / de-scale the pipe.
Model tray wobbles.
• Model tray is not mounted
properly.
• Refit the model tray according to the
instructions.
