“Emergency call”
The “Emergency call” function is trig-
gered automatically in the event of a
serious accident or if the airbag is trig-
gered.
The emergency services will be called
automatically. Your vehicle GPS will be
used to direct the emergency services
to the accident location.
You can launch the emergency call
manually by pressing and holding
(approx. 3 seconds) or applying 5 con-
secutive presses (less than 10 sec-
onds) to the SOS button in your vehicle.
For details on the SOS button posi-
tion, please refer to your vehicle user
manual.
When the emergency services have
been called, the audio source/radio
sound volume is automatically muted.
Note: use of the “Emergency call”
function deactivates some multime-
dia system commands and menus for
almost one hour in order to give prior-
ity to emergency service response tel-
ephone calls.
Following your call, the operator will
send, via the multimedia system, a list
of POIs (points of interest) around your
location that correspond to your techni-
cal issue(s).
