6.4 Warranty Provisions and Disclaimer
6.4.1 Warranty Range
The purpose of this document is to define the after-sales service Remotek Corporation
(hereinafter referred to as: Remotek) would provide toward its own products. Remotek will be
responsible for the repair or replacement the same type of product within the warranty period
under the circumstances that product has identical defects of material, manufacturing or
software process.
6.4.1.1 Warranty Period
From product shipping day, the deadline will follow the warranty period terms of purchasing
contract Remotek signed with accounts.
The rechargeable battery set belongs to expendables, Remotek will provide six month warranty
period from shipping month.
6.4.1.2 Hardware/Firmware
During the warranty period for Remotek’s products, any defects caused customers active send
back to Remotek; Remotek will provide repair service for free.
6.4.1.3 Software
During the warranty period, any bug exists in software that Remotek provided; Remotek will
update new software for free.
6.4.2 Range of Non-Warranty
6.4.2.1 Hardware/Firmware
For any of the defects or damages could not be attributed to Remotek, is not covered in this
warranty provisions. The non-attribution subjects including but not limited to the following
conditions:
I.
Force majeure of natural disasters (such as: flood, fire, earthquake, lightning,
typhoon…etc.)
II.
Physical abuse (such as: beating, hitting, throwing, improper keeping, inappropriate
shipment, losing, soaking…etc.)
III.
Damages by inappropriate setup (such as: operating without follow the instruction from
user’s manual, the violation for grounding requirements, the violation for water-proof
requirements…etc.)
