3.3.2 Connecting Feeder and Power Cables
Once the repeater has been installed, follow the procedures below to connect the cables:
Connect the donor antenna cable to the
BTS
port and service antenna to the
MS
port. Form
a half loop for both cables in the shape of
just before connecting to the BTS port and the
MS port, so water can be prevented from flowing towards the ports.
Connect the end of the power cable to the AC IN port first before plugging in the power
cable to the main socket. Use the power cable supplied with the package.
Connect the grounding cable to the bolt marked “

Note the following information when connecting the repeater to the coaxial cable.
The connector type of repeater’s MS and BTS port is N-type female. Make sure the cable’s
connectors are compatible.
A lightening arrestor needs to be connected to the repeater’s BTS and MS ports when the
donor and service antennas are installed outside in a high position. Grounding is essential
for the arrestor to work.
3.3.3 Inserting the Micro SIM Card
To connect the repeater from a remote location for the monitoring and configuring, the repeater
needs to have a valid micro SIM card inserted. Refer to the
OMS Lite User Manual
on how to
connect the repeater from a remote location.
