1.1 General safety instructions
For the installer:
Danger
If you smell gas:
1. Do not use naked flames, do not smoke and do
not operate electrical contacts or switches (door
bell, lighting, motor, lift etc).
2. Shut off the gas supply.
3. Open the windows.
4. Trace possible leaks and seal them off immediate
ly.
5. If the leak is upstream of the gas meter, notify the
gas company.
Danger
If you smell flue gases:
1. Switch the boiler off.
2. Open the windows.
3. Trace possible leaks and seal them off immediate
ly.
Caution
After maintenance or repair work, check the entire
heating installation to ensure that there are no leaks.
For the end user:
Danger
If you smell gas:

5. Evacuate the property.
6. Contact a qualified installer.

If you smell flue gases:
1. Switch the boiler off.
2. Open the windows.
3. Report any leaks immediately.
4. Evacuate the property.
5. Contact a qualified installer.
Warning
Do not touch the flue gas pipes. Depending on the
boiler settings, the temperature of the flue gas pipes
can rise to over 60°C.
