Do not remove the screw just left of the pilot shield - this secures the
valve tray in position.

Attach the green ground wire to the ground lug - located in the lower
left back corner of the unit.

Reposition the valve access plate - before securing with 17 screws
(see step 8 for screw locations) - slide in the thermodisc to the clip on
the bottom of the access plate. Attach the 2 wires from the fan to the
thermodisc as shown below.

Plug the fan into the receptacle located in the lower right front corner at
the base of the unit.

To remove the fan - reverse steps.

Manoeuvre the fan into position in the lower right corner at the base
of the unit.

Attach the thermodisc wires - (by sliding them on) to the fan as shown
below.
12)
Secure the fan to the base of the unit with 2 screws.
TO REMOVE THE FAN
1)
Turn the power off.
2)
Reverse the above instructions.
Maintenance:
The sealed bearings are lubricated, there is no need to lu-
bricate them further. (Extra lubricant will cause more lint and dust buildup
- causing the bearings to prematurely fail).
Regular cleaning and vacuuming of the fan area will add to the life of the
motor.
IMPORTANT:
These fans collect a lot of dust from within your home. Ensure you
maintain these fan motors on a regular basis by vacuuming
the fan blades and housing using a soft brush nozzle.
