a) Modifying the Steering Directions
Your remote control is tuned ex works exactly to your double rotor electric powered helicopter. However, if you notice
that your model helicopter’s individual steering functions respond contrary to the pattern illustrated in figures 11 - 14,
you can reprogram the direction of the model’s response (reverse function) for each individual steering function at the
transmitter.
The respective control functions are described as follows in the
display:
THRO = Pitch function
RUDD = Tail function
ELEV = Nod function
AILE = Rolling function
Proceed as follows to switch the control directions:
• Switch on the transmitter.
• Push and hold the left switching button for servo path limitation
to enter the programming menu.
• Operate the left trimming button for the tail function immediately
to call the first menu item „THRO“. The currently set running
direction „NOR“ for normal or „REV“ for reverse appears above
the percentage.
• Use the trim buttons for the rolling function to select the required
control function, e.g. for the tail function (RUDD), for which you
want to change the control direction.
• Operate the left trimming button for the tail function again to
switch from the menu item to the input value. The currently set
running direction „NOR“ or „REV“ starts to flash.
• Now you can use the trimming buttons for the rolling function to
switch the running direction from „NOR“ to „REV“ or vice versa.
• Push the left trim button for the tail function again to save the
set value.
• To leave the programming menu, push the right trim button for
the tail function 2 x or wait until the programming menu is closed
automatically.
If you enter the programming menu again with the left switching button for servo path limitation without
switching the transmitter off and on again in between, the last menu item used will be shown again.
