Installing the Contactor Fuses

IMPORTANT: Turn off power & remove key.

Before beginning, ALL wires and jumpers
removed from both contactors.

Locate (2) 100A Fuses, the Double Fuse Holder, (2)
1/4-20 SS Nylock Nuts, and (4) M6 SS Flat Washers
(Fig. A).

Locate  the  J4  jumper  from  the  red  terminal  block  and
mount to Fuse B. Place an M6 flat washer over the fuse
stud  followed  by  the  jumper,  another  flat  washer  and
then  a  Nylock  nut.  Locate  the  red  deck  plug  wire  and
mount to Fuse A in the same manner (Fig. B). Tighten
the  nuts  using  the  7/16”  wrench.  The  jumpers  should
be coming off the fuses at a 45° angle, pointed towards
the front of the unit.

Mount the Double Fuse Assembly to the large RH post
of the RH Contactor as shown in Fig. C.  Place the red
wire from the square diode on next followed  by an  M8
flat washer, an M8 lock washer and an M8 nut. Tighten
using a  14mm  socket  and  wrench.  Ensure  that  red
diode wire is in line with the fuse holder.

Place the green square diode wire and one end of the
short contactor jumper wire on the large LH post of the
RH contactor. Secure with M8 flat washer, lock washer
and nut. Tighten with 14mm socket and wrench (Fig.
D).
