Load securing
Machines are usually secured using a combination of form-fitting and force-fitting load
securing.
The machine must be secured with tension straps to prevent sliding and tilting at the wheels (1)
and the fastening devices (2).
Apply immobilisation brake and switch off freewheeling.
5.10
Leaving the machine
• Turn the travel drive rotary grip to 0 position.
• Release dead man handle.
• Turn off the engine.
• Place the machine on a motor protection plate without the attachment. The handlebar
ends must not contact the ground, adjust the handlebar height accordingly.
5.11
Towing operation
The machine must not be towed.
Only move the machine by hand.

Trailer operation
For the trailer load, see Technical Data (Appendix A).

Warning
The machine may strike dead people or animals, or damage objects.
• Do not damage the machine when lashing down.
• Do not use damaged tension straps.
• Do not twist tension straps.
• Pay attention to the permissible breaking strain of the tension straps.
• For attachment load securing, refer to attachment operating instructions.
Warning
The machine may suddenly trap the user or third persons, cause them to fall over or run
them over.
• Never leave the machine while the engine is running.
• Secure the machine against rolling away and unauthorised use.
Note
If the dead man handle is not actuated, the immobilisation brake is activated. Keep the dead
man handle held down when moving the machine.
Attention
Non-observance of this instruction results in destruction of the hydraulic system drive.

The national regulations must be observed for trailer operation (weight, dimensions, brake,
lighting etc.).
