2.7 Link Establishment using an R&S UPV and USB
If the USB interface was selected, the used COM Port must be selected next. The
COM Port used by the driver can, as shown in the following figure, be determined
using the Device Manager (example here: COM4 port).

The easiest way of establishing a connection however is using the „Auto“ setting. In
this mode, the R&S UPV scans all available COM Ports for an R&S UPZ and waits for
their response.
