TRIGANO MDC - Haut-Eclair – 72600 MAMERS
We recommend cleaning the frame tubes with a cloth to remove any dirt and prevent rust.
6.3.
Waterproofing
If your cotton canvas needs more waterproofing, our Trigano waterproofing product can be
reapplied. We recommend you contact your usual retailer to purchase it.
7.
Wintering
During long periods of storage, if possible, keep your trailer tent in a garage after carrying out the
annual checks.
Take off the handbrake and remove the gas cylinder (if there is one).
Sitting your trailer tent on blocks will relieve the pressure on the suspension and tyres.
If you disassemble the drawbar, you must install new nuts and bolts when reassembling it. Never
reuse old screws.
For outdoor storage, we recommend you prepare your trailer tent for winter: protective cover or
tar insulating material (e.g. Polystyrene) over the current tarpaulin.
Never store the trailer
tent in full sun.
Canvas trailer tents are not bulky. However, if you store your trailer outside, we recommend you
remove the canvas part.

Warranty
8.1.
Warranty type and exclusions:
Your canvas trailer tent has a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering all manufacturing
faults.
The warranty does not cover faults resulting from incorrect set-up, use (resin marks, etc.), storage or
maintenance, or damage caused by extreme weather (flooding, storms, etc.).
Quickly wearing parts such as seals, flexible pipes and tyres are excluded from the warranty.
The warranty does not apply to any parts of the trailer tent that have been modified after leaving the
factory by any person, either by altering the original parts or installing new parts.
The warranty does not cover trailer tents that have been involved in an accident.
Trailer tents used for commercial purposes are not covered by this warranty.
8.2.
Warranty claim terms:
The invoice must be presented for all warranty claims.
The warranty claim must be lodged with your dealer.
Any cost to return the allegedly defective parts is borne by you, the consumer.
Towing and travel costs and expenses resulting from the non-use of the trailer tent will not be
covered in any situation, nor give rise to the payment of any compensation.
Parts replaced and reconditioned under this warranty do not extend the warranty period.
After the trailer tent has been assessed, we will carry out the repairs free of charge once the request
has been accepted by the manufacturer.
If the warranty claim is rejected, a quote will be sent to your dealer and, if accepted, we will carry out
the repairs. If you decline the quote, we will return the trailer tent to you in its current condition.
No product can be replaced by the dealer without your agreement.
