.1 Introduction
The Mouse Module is used to enable you to control a PC
mouse through the R-Net Control System, either through a
Joystick or via an Input device connected to the R-Net
Omni2
.

.2 Controls
The default controls have been programmed to operate with
a Joystick Module fitted with lighting controls (Fig 18.0).

.3 Operational Rules
The Mouse Module has the following requirements and
restrictions

.4 Bluetooth Receiver Dongle
To make the Mouse Module operate with a PC you will need a
Bluetooth receiver dongle connected and with drivers installed.
Sunrise Medical recommend use of the following Bluetooth
Dongles:
Trust BT-2400
Linksys USBBT100-UK
Belkin F8T012uk1 Version 1000
If your wheelchair was ordered with the Mouse function, then
the system should be installed and set up for you to use and
your healthcare professional or authorized dealer, will have
demonstrated its operation.
Should you wish to add the Mouse function to a wheelchair
not already configured for this option, please contact your
healthcare professional or authorized dealer.
Programming and diagnostics should only be conducted by
health care professionals with in-depth knowledge of Sunrise
Medical electronic Control Systems. Incorrect programming
could result in an unsafe setup of a vehicle. Sunrise Medical
accept no liability for any losses of any kind if the programming
of the Control System is altered from the factory-preset values.

.2.1 Other Controls, (
Omni2
).
Any Input Device
and
most SIDs can be used to control a PC
Mouse, but programing of the control system will be required. .
Operation of the R-Net Control System will vary depending on
what Input Devices are connected.
If your wheelchair is already programmed to operate in
“Mouse Mode”, your healthcare professional or authorized
dealer should have demonstrated this option.
If you wish to add the “Mouse Mode” option, or have any
questions, please contact your healthcare professional or
authorized dealer.
The Mouse Module does not support scanner functionality.

The Mouse Module has an operational range of 10m.
•
The Mouse Module can retain ID’s for up to 4 PC’s.
•
The Mouse Module and target PC will remain paired unless
they are disconnected on the PC.
•
Once the Mouse Module has successfully been paired with a
PC it remembers the PC id. This means you can drive
outside the 33' (10m) operating range, turn off the control
system or the PC, and upon returning within range of the
turned on PC the Bluetooth connection will be automatically
reinstated.

To pair the Mouse Module with multiple PC’s see the Pairing
section in Section 18.6 of this manual.
