Specific patient positioning
Training is performed in the closed system, i.e. the feet are placed on the adjustable footplate, which
can be adjusted according to body size and desired starting position. For this purpose, the
turning/locking handle is loosened by turning it to the left (counterclockwise) by half a turn, and by
pulling the knob, the footrest can be adjusted. When the adjustment is correct, the next hole must be
searched for so that the detent bolt snaps back into place, and by turning to the right, it is fixed. This
enables optimal stabilization of the pelvis during movement. The seat with the gas spring can be
adjusted by operating the release below the seat. The seat depth is adjusted via the locking screw on
the pelvic stabilization pad. The seat height and seat depth are selected so that the axis of rotation of
the unit corresponds to the axis of rotation on the patient. The height of the lumbar spine cushion is
adjusted using the corresponding rotation bolt. Adjust the cushion on the training arm to the desired
height after loosening the locking screw. To adjust the starting position, press the pushbutton on the
guide rod on the cam disk, bring the lever arm into the desired position and let the bolt snap back into
place there by releasing the pushbutton. The latching takes place in 10° increments. Set the weight load.
The Range of Motion Limiter (optional) for the end position is located above the weight block and is
adjusted by loosening the fastening screw.
