Fiber optics cable
A fiber optics cable with a diameter of 200 µm is used.
The fiber optics cable have two different connector plugs:

On the pyrometer side the connector plug has an additional dowl as distortion-lock. The pyrometer side is
additionally labeled with the serial number of the pyrometer.

There is no distortion-lock on the side of the optical head. The mounting of the optical head is only possible
on this side. This side is accredited for ambient temperatures up to 250 °C.
Very long fiber optic cables are delivered on an extra cable drum
– the side of the optical head is generally
on the outside.
Please screw the fiber optics cable with the help of a combination wrench SW17 and a maximum fastening
torque of 0.2 Nm to 0.5 Nm.
Please note
: Fiber optic cable and optical head are calibrated together with the appropriate device and have
the same serial number. An efficient function of OKSG_L is guaranteed only of components with the same
serial numbers are used.
Specifically when installing multiple devices pay attention that the components belong together. If the fiber
optic cable or the optical head is changed a recalibration for preservation of the specified data is necessary.
