The possible supports of the rigid backrest may create
interference with the seat tubes. In such case, remove the
armrests, take hold, with one hand, the seat tubes in order to
keep them close together, then, with your other hand, take
hold of one backrest tube, push it outwardly and down as
much as it is necessary to let it pass over the seat tube. Carry
out the same operation for both tubes. Finally, pull the tubes
up until the lock in their upright position.
Folding the backrest when the seat is open.
You can fold the backrest down even without separating the two parts of the backrest handle bar.
Remove the cushion or any other soft or rigid supports from the seat.
With one finger, pull the pin P of one backrest tube, slightly push and keep the handle bar forward
in order to prevent the pin to lock again.
Pull the pin P of the other backrest tube and fold the whole backrest down.
In many cases, it is not necessary to remove the possible postural backrest; however, it may be
necessary to remove the armrests.
When the backrest is folded down, it is not possible to fold the seat.
