Setting the memory for the phonebook
You can set which phonebook entries should be
used for the display in the phonebook:
– the phonebook entries on the SIM card
or/and
– the phonebook entries in the telephone's
memory.
This allows you to adapt the phonebook list of the
PCM to your list in the cell phone.
1.
Press the
c
button.
2.
Press the
i
button or touch the tab of
the same name in the header.
3.
Select "
Phonebook settings
"
> "
Phonebook memory
".
4.
Make the desired setting by selecting.
Setting automatic transfer of the
phonebook
If the "
Auto update
" function is switched on, a cell
phone's phonebook will be transferred each time
the PCM is connected to the cell phone.
The phonebook stored in the PCM is replaced by
the current phonebook from the cell phone once
transfer is complete.
If the "
Auto update
" function is switched off, the
data will no longer be updated.

4.
Select "
Auto update
" to
activate ( ) or
deactivate ( ) the function

Transferring the phonebook
This setting transfers the phonebook of the
connected cell phone once more into the PCM.
The phonebook stored in the PCM is replaced by
the current phonebook from the cell phone once
transfer is complete.
1.
Press the
c
button.
2.
Press the
i
button or touch the tab of
the same name in the header.
3.
Select "
Transfer phonebook
".
Manually transferring the phonebook
entries
Some cell phones do not support automatic
transfer of the phonebook If this is the case, you
can manually load entries from the phonebook on
your cell phone phonebook into the phonebook of
the PCM.
1.
Press the
c
button.
2.
Press the
i
button or touch the tab of
the same name in the header.
3.
Select "
Transfer phonebook
".
4.
You can now choose whether you wish to add
to or completely replace the phonebook.
Select the desired function.
5.
Select the desired entries on your cell phone
and transfer to the PCM via Bluetooth.
The PCM counts the entries already
transferred.
6.
Once transfer is complete, select "Ready".
You can then access the transferred entries in
the PCM phonebook.
