MAP

Displaying the Destination town/Location

info

When route guidance is active, selecting the

Show destination

" or "

Show location

" function

displays the relevant position in accordance with

the zoom functions currently active.

Press the

button.

Call up the map display menu by pressing the

right rotary knob

Select "

Show destination

The destination town is displayed on the map.

Select "

Show location

" if applicable.

The location is displayed on the in a northward

direction aligned map.

Displaying sections of the route

If you have started the route guidance component

of your navigation system, a list containing all

sections of your route will be displayed.

Press the

button.

Press the

button or touch the tab of

the same name in the header.

Select "

Route list

The sections of your route are listed and

displayed.

The section you are currently driving on is at

the very top of this list and the final destination

is at the very bottom.

Select the desired section for a more detailed

view.

You then see a map section showing the route

section in question.

You can change the map scale if necessary by

selecting the two symbols

and

browse the various sections by selecting the

symbols

and .

If you would like to make a detour around this

section of your route, select "

Detour

To find out more about setting detours, please

refer to the section "Setting a detour" on

page 133.



This function is also available under the "

Route

list

" menu item in the

menu.

If off-road navigation is activated, a restricted

version of this function is available with so-

called landmark navigation.

Setting the display layout

You have four options for dividing the display while

route guidance is active:

Full screen map

The map is shown across the entire display.

– "

With guidance

In addition to the relevant map section, the

next driving instruction is shown in the right

half of the display.

– "

With maneuver list

In addition to the relevant map section, the

next maneuver is shown with the help of

pictograms.

– "

With route preview

In addition to the map section containing the

current position, a further map section

containing the route ahead is shown.

Press the

button.

Press the
