53
Description of operation:
The emergency thermostat and the burner thermostat are connected in series.
The burner thermostat is adjusted to the bottom regulation value of approximately 80
o
C.
If a failure or gross negligence of the operator results in temperature increase up to approximately 80
o
C in the place
where the probe is located, the thermostat will disconnect the electric contact and the control unit will stop operation of
the boiler.
The ALARM indicator will light up on the control unit following script will appear on the display unit:
!STOP-TEMP >95
o
C
If this condition is caused by operation of the emergency burner thermostat, a red indicator will light up on the electric
distribution box located on the rear part of the boiler.
Procedure to restore the operation :
The operator or service engineer are
obliged
to find out the reason for the failure first. The cause for temperature
increase should be found out.
The following has to be checked:
-
Transport routes should be checked whether they are clean. The connecting transport hose and feeder 2 may not
contain any fuel.
-
The burner and mainly its air nozzles should be checked whether they are clean.
-
The secondary ceramic grate should be checked whether it is clean.
-
The boiler and routes of its combustion products should be checked whether they are clean.
-
The chimney should be checked whether it is clean as well as its draught.
If the parts have been cleaned and they are in order, the operator shall unscrew the cap of the burner thermostat and
he/she shall press the trigger of the thermostat in by means of any tool (pencil, small screwdriver).
The red indicator on the electric distribution box has to get extinguished. If it is not possible to adjust the trigger of the
thermostat, check the temperature of the burner in the place where the probe is located - the temperature has to be
lower than 60
o
C.
Turn the control unit off and then turn it on after approximately 5 seconds.
SW modification:
NO
Note:
The burner thermostat may also be installed on older types of burners.
Note:
Before you dismantle the burner, pull out the probe from the burner thermostat by moderate draw
and fasten it in the position before over the burner where it will not hinder while dismantling the burner. Plug
the whole probe into the inspection hole after the burner is mounted back.
Use - for products equipped with burner thermostat
