The stand-off distances and scan ranges of the different micro scan lenses
are shown in the following table. Stronger zoom is achieved by interpolation
which might reduce the quality of the video image.

A.5.3
PSV-A-RLight Fiber-Optic Ring Light
A.5.3.1 Introduction
You can mount the fiber-optic ring light on the PSV-A-CL-80 and
PSV-A-CL-150 micro scan lenses to enhance the quality of the video image.
A.5.3.2 Assembly
To mount the ring light, proceed as follows:
1. Push the ring light onto the micro scan lens.
2. Hand-tighten the knurled screw.
CAUTION!
Damage caused by too strongly tightening !
Only tighten the screws until they can not
undo themselves.
3. Remove the protective cap from the another end of the fiber cable.
4. Insert the fiber cable into the Modulamp® receptacle of the cold light
source.
5. Hand-tighten the thumbscrew on the side of the Modulamp® receptacle.
WARNING!
Danger of injury from high intensity light !
Never look directly at the ring-light when the
light source is switched on ! The high intense light can cause irreparable eye damage.
For more information on the cold light source, please refer to the user manual
of the manufacturer.
