14. KALSTOP optional
Kalstop is the anti-limescale product for
appliances with boiler for ironing and steam
cleaning.
Regular use of Kalstop, every time the tank is
filled with water:
- Extends the life of the appliance.
- Allows emission of a “drier” steam
- Prevents limescale build up.
- Protects the walls of the boiler.
- Contributes to saving energy.
Kalstop (PAEU0094) is on sale at household
appliance stores, at Polti authorised service
centres or on the site www.polti.com.
15. FRESCOVAPOR optional
Vaporetto Smart 100_B / Smart 100_T has a
dispenser, located in the floor brush, to be
used exclusively with FrescoVapor, the
natural deodorant that, besides leaving a
pleasant fragrance, captures bad odours.
FrescoVapor (PAEU0285) is an air freshener
that contains natural substances. Designed to
mix with steam it releases a fresh perfume in
every space and, thanks to its special
composition, it is able to eliminate bad
odours.
To use FrescoVapor, proceed as follows:
- Unscrew the deodorant dispenser cap
located on the floor brush and fill it with
FrescoVapor (21).
- Tighten the cap (21).
- To start dispensing the deodorant, press the
selector located on the brush to the “ON”
position to release the deodorant. Press the
selector back to the “OFF” position to stop it
(22).

16. STORAGE
16.1 Turn off the appliance and disconnect
from the mains electricity.
16.2 Wait for the appliance to cool down
completely before storing it.
16.3 It is possible to store the appliance by
placing the brush (including the frame) and
the hoses in the parking unit (15 - 16).
16.4 The smaller accessories can be stored
inside the accessories compartment (17).
WARNING: Never put FrescoVapor into the
water tank.
During dispensing of the deodorant, the sur-
faces may feel slightly damper, since Fre-
scoVapor mixes with the steam being di-
spensed. To stop dispensing FrescoVapor,
move the selector located on the brush to
the OFF position.
The selector only controls dispensing of the
deodorant that mixes with the steam. It does
not regulate the quantity of steam. To adjust
the quantity of steam, you must use the
steam-adjustment dial (7).
