6.5 To clean tiles, attach the cap to the small
brush and pass over the surface, dispensing
steam, in order to eliminate the dirt. The
extension hoses can be connected to the
handle to reach high surfaces.
6.6 We recommend keeping a microfiber
cloth close at hand (Vaporetto Microfiber
Cloths for manual use PAEU0231) to
complete the cleaning operations and dry the
dirt dissolved by steam.
7. CLEANING UPHOLSTERY
(mattresses, sofas, car interiors,
etc.)
7.1 Make sure that Section 1 has been followed
and connect the accessories as indicated in
Section 2.
7.2 Connect the small brush to the steam
hose.
7.3 Attach the cap to the small brush.
7.4 Adjust the intensity of the steam by
turning the adjustment knob (7); for this type
of surface we recommend Minimum level of
steam.
7.5 Ensure that the steam lock on the handle
is deactivated (4).
7.6 Hold the steam trigger down (4) on the
handle and pass over the surface.
8. CLEANING BATHROOM
FIXTURES, GROUTING AND
KITCHEN WORKTOPS
8.1 Make sure that Section 1 has been
followed and connect the accessories as
indicated in Section 2.
8.2 Connect the most suitable accessory
depending on requirements:
• steam concentrator, ideal for cleaning
bathroom fixtures, the bathroom, hob
burners.
• large round brush for removing encrusted
dirt from large surfaces (only for Smart
100_T).
• small black round brush for removing
encrusted dirt.
• small red round brush for removing
encrusted dirt (only for Smart 100_B).
The different colour makes it possible to
assign each brush to a certain surface or a
certain environment.
• grout accessory to clean between tiles or to
remove dirt from very narrow surfaces (only
for Smart 100_T).
• spatula for removing stubborn dirt from
cooking pans and hobs (only for Smart
100_B).
8.3 Adjust the intensity of the steam by
turning the adjustment knob (7); for this type
of surface we recommend Maximum level of
steam.
8.4 Ensure that the steam lock on the handle
is deactivated (4).
8.5 Press and hold the steam trigger on the
handle (4) and steam the surface generously
to dissolve the dirt. Use a dry cloth to remove
the dirt dissolved by the steam. It is possible
to connect one of the following accessories,
recommended for removing encrusted dirt
from very narrow surfaces, to the flexible
handle: steam concentrator, small round
brush, or large round brush.
9. CLEANING FURNITURE AND
DELICATE SURFACES
9.1 Make sure that Section 1 has been
followed and connect the accessories as
indicated in Section 2.
9.2 Adjust the intensity of the steam by
turning the adjustment knob (7); for this type
of surface we recommend Minimum level of
steam.
9.3 Press and hold the steam trigger on the
handle (4) and direct the jet onto a cloth
(Vaporetto Microfiber Cloths for manual use
PAEU0231).
9.4 Use the steamed cloth to clean the
surface, avoiding prolonged use on the same
spot.
10. OTHER GENERAL USES
WARNING: Before cleaning fabrics with
steam, consult the manufacturer’s
instructions and always carry out a test on a
hidden area or on a sample of the material.
WARNING: Do not direct the steam jet
directly onto surfaces.

part to dry to make sure that no changes in
colour or deformations have occurred.
