Start raking
Example: left rotor with tandem chassis:
Requirements:
- level and firm ground
- 1.5 bar pressure in all tyres
- The implement is attached to the tractor and in the working position
1. Step:
Lower the tines using the crank handle. The lowest tines
should no longer sweep the ground when the rotor is turned.
2. Step:
Adjust the transverse inclination to the "start raking" position
using the eccentric screws, so that a ground clearance of
approx. 1 - 1.5 cm can be measured on the first triggered
tines (start raking).
TIP
Equally adjust the eccentric screws which are located
on the same side of the rotor unit (a1 and a2 and/or b1
and b2).

3. Step:
Setting the rake height using crank handle. The ground
distance at "start raking" position should now be approx.
3.5 cm. The ground distance at "finish raking" position
should now be approx. 2.0 cm.
4. Step:
Set the inner jockey wheel so that the tines in front have
a measurable ground distance of 2.5 cm.
5. Step:
Setting the outer feeler wheel (multi feeler wheel) so that
it is only slightly loaded.
