- Move the swath apron into the working position
Settings on rotor chassis
Requirements:
- level and firm ground
- 1.5 bar pressure in all tyres
- The machine is attached to the tractor and in the working
position
1. Set the lateral incline
(only with the optional tandem chassis)
To ensure clean raking, the rotor chassis should
be slightly inclined towards the swath. The side
rake start should be approx. 1.0-1.5 cm higher.
1. Lower the rotor unit using the crank handle (1) until the
inner tines just touch the ground.
TIP
Secure crank handle in holding bracket after setting
has taken place.
1
2. Set the outer tines using eccentric bolt (2) - approx.
1.0 - 1.5 cm above ground.
a. Loosen nuts (3) slightly using a size 36 open-end
spanner.
b. Set the required inclination using the eccentric bolt
(2) and a size 36 open-end spanner.
c. Re-tighten the nuts (3). (Tightening torque 280 Nm)

NOTE
Property damage through operation without an inner
feeler wheel
•
Always operate the machine with an inner
feeler wheel. The carrier and holder of the
external feeler wheel are not designed for
stand-alone operation.
TIP
All the wheels (a-c) can be set in the same way.
Equally adjust the wheels which are located on the same
side of the rotor unit (a1 and a2 and/or b1 and b2).
2. Readjusting tine wear
Tine wear should also be adjusted using eccentric screws,
by adjusting the 4 eccentric screws downwards in line with
the wear. In this way, you can offset them by up to 4 cm.
See Chapter "Transverse slope" for setting
3. Adjusting rake height
1. Set rake height using the hand crank handle (1) for
each rotor unit individually. Turn crank handle (1)
anti-clockwise to increase the distance of the tines to
the ground. Turn crank (1) clockwise to decrease the
distance of the tines to the ground.
