3.4.8 STAPLER DRIVE, STAPLING POSITION (LOWER)
ASSEMBLIES
Check
1. Insert two sheet of paper in the stapler area.
2. With pliers, hand crank (clockwise) [A] the stapler/clincher drive shaft [B] to the
lowest position. The picture shows the upper position.
3. At the lowest position of the stapler bar, the plunger caps [C] on the staplers
should compress 0,5-1 mm to ensure correct stapling force.
Adjustment
1. Adjust lower position of the stapler bar by loosing the set screws [D] and mov-
ing the bar [E] ( x2 ) on the stapler drive bar [F].
