1. From the Start button, select Settings and then Control Panel. Double-
click on the Network icon.
Next, click on the Add button to open the screen below. Select the
Protocol item on the left and click on the Add button.

item on the left and click on the Add button.
2. Select "Microsoft" in the Manufacturers list, and click on "NetBEUI" in
the Networking Protocols list. Click on the OK button.
Now, an item labeled NetBEUI should be visible in the Network window.
S i m i l a r l y, install "Microsoft Network Client" (a "Client" component) and
"Microsoft Network Sharing Service" (a "Service" component) if they have
not been installed yet. Go to Step 1 above and select "Client" or "Service".
If you do not wish to install TCP/IP, directly proceed to Section B-3.
