Chapter 4

To enable VGA mode, slide the DIP switches into these 
positions.

To disable VGA mode

If you are using another board to support VGA, you must 
disable VGA mode on the Md5/PCI board. You must also 
install a Digital board in a 64-bit slot to serve as the VGA 
console. See “Supporting VGA with another VGA board” 
on page 121 for more information.

The Digital UNIX workstation supports VGA only in 
the 64-bit slots. See “Limitations with VGA support” on 
page 127 for more information. 

To disable VGA, slide the DIP switches on the Md5/PCI 
board into these positions.
