Supporting VGA with another VGA board
To use another board as the VGA console, you must dis-
able VGA mode on the Md5/PCI board. See “To disable
VGA mode” on page 122.
Enabling and disabling VGA mode
This table shows the setting options for switch S1. You can
change these settings to enable or disable VGA mode.
To enable VGA mode
You must enable VGA if you are using the Md5/PCI board
to support VGA. To use this port, you must install the
Md5/PCI board in a 64-bit slot that has been configured
for a DOME PCI board. See “Supporting VGA with the
Md5/PCI board” on page 119.
