7.2 Cleaning of the drain pump filter

❖

We strongly recommend to clean the drain pump filter regularly (

at least every

two month

You have to clean the drain pump filter if the appliance does not drain the water

properly or does not run the spinning programme.

You have to clean the drain pump filter if the pump is blocked by any foreign
object (e.g. buttons, coins etc.).

WARNING!

Do not clean the drain pump filter while the appliance is in

operation! Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains

before

WARNING!

If there is hot water in the appliance, ensure before

residual water drainage that the water has cooled down completely. RISK
OF SCALDING! RISK OF BURNS!

Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains.

Depending on model:

Insert a flathead screwdriver or a key

into the small opening (

) of the

bottom cover panel (

). Press the cover panel using a lot of force - but also

being careful - downwards; s. fig. below.
