Passwords can be set up on your mailstation™ to prevent
unauthorized access to the meter or to a specific department
account. This appendix explains the effects on meter functions when
using either or both types of passwords.
NOTE: For information on setting up a password for the meter itself
(referred to as a "Lock Code" in this manual), see Section 6, Machine
Settings. For information on setting up a password for an account
when using the optional departmental accounting feature, see
Section 9, Departmental Accounting.
