Connect to a p owe r outlet using the su pp lied
p owe r cable afte r making all othe r
connections.
Front panel connections
On the f r ont p anel the r e is a fli p -down cove r
that hides mo r e connections.
Left side:
1 DV IN
A DV in p ut i.LINK connecto r , suitable fo r
connecting a DV camco r de r .
2 USB port (Type A)
USB p o r t fo r connecting an HDD
camco r de r , digital came r a, keyboa r d o r
othe r USB device.
3 USB port (Type B)
USB p o r t fo r connecting a PictB r idge-
com p atible pr inte r o r PC.
Right side:
4 INPUT 2
Audio/video in p ut (ste r eo analog audio;
com p osite and S-Video), es p ecially suitable
fo r camco r de r s, game consoles, p o r table
audio, etc.
Connecting a TV antenna
This r eco r de r has se p a r ate built-in TV tune r s
fo r te rr est r ial digital and te rr est r ial analog TV
b r oadcasts.
If you a r e r eady to r eceive digital b r oadcasts
now, use one of the su pp lied RF antenna
cables connect an antenna (eithe r an
antenna wall outlet o r indoo r antenna) to the
ANTENNA (DIGITAL) IN connecto r . Next,
connect the othe r su pp lied RF antenna
cable to connect an antenna to the
ANTENNA IN (RF IN)
connecto r . Lastly,
connect the r eco r de r to you r TV f r om the
ANTENNA OUT
connecto r .
Important
• If the r e is only one antenna outlet on
you r wall, use a divide r .
• Do not connect a com p onent that can
r eceive analog signals to the ANTENNA
(DIGITAL) OUT

If you r a r ea is not yet se r ved with te rr est r ial
digital se r vices, connect you r antenna’s
out p ut to the
ANTENNA IN (RF IN)
connecto r
using one of the su pp lied RF antenna cables.
Next, connect the r eco r de r to you r TV f r om the
ANTENNA OUT
