Unit features
Using the product PNOZ s50:
PWM relay for the safe activation of inductive loads, e.g. valves, mechanical holding
brakes.
The product has the following features:
}
Semiconductor outputs
–
2 dualpole failsafe power outputs, rated voltages 24 V or 48 VDC, e.g. for mechan
ical holding brakes, valves
–
Output voltage can be reduced through pulse width modulation (PWM)
–
Potential of the power outputs connected to the supply voltage B1/B2
–
1 singlepole failsafe output for error
–
2 singlepole failsafe outputs for status of the power circuits
–
2 test pulse outputs
–
Potential of the singlepole outputs connected to supply voltage A1/A2
}
Semiconductor inputs
–
4 failsafe inputs for activating the power outputs (fast shutdown of power circuits)
–
2 singlepole standard inputs for activating the power outputs (slow shutdown of
power circuits)
–
2 singlepole standard inputs for feedback loops

Supply voltage
–
24 VDC for device
–
For power circuits, rated voltage 24 V, 48 VDC
Supply voltage for device and power circuit are isolated from each other
