l. - Immerse the crankcase half in petroleum
for about one hour; then dry with a clean
rag.
2. - Place a plug dia. 61 .9 + 0.05 mm into the
bush to be checked.
3. Oscillate the plug transversally and check
to see if oil is expelled from the gap bet­
ween the bush and crankcase; if this is the
case the bush is slack in its housing and
needs be replaced.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLACING A CRANKCASE HALF
Vespa l 25 /VN l - VN 2; 150 /VL l - VL 2 - VL 3 -
VB l ; G. L./VGLl ; G. S./VS l - VS2 - VS3 - VS4 - VS5
l. - Wash in gasoline the still serviceable crankcase
half and unscrew the studs fixing the cylinder
from said crankcase half and from the one.
Couple the two halves and secure with bolts,
washers and nuts.
2. - Fix the crankcase on the work position holder
T. 0020865 provided with guide jig T. 0020867,
then adjust the spindle T. 0020868 in the posi-
tion indicated below.
Place the gauge T. 15363 /C on surface

of the spindle.
The reamer 845133 shall skim, on lug «C»,
the step marked by a figure corresponding
to the dimensions of the housing « A » in
the original crankcase.

Use gauge T. 15364/C as shown on the figure
to the left, to adjust the stroke of the cutting
l . - Poner los semicarters en un baiio de petr6-
leo por cerca una hora; secar al aire.
2. - lntroducir un tap6n 0 61,9 ± 0,05 mm. en
el casquillo.

Hacer oscilar transversalmente el tap6n y
solo si se verifica perdida de petroleo del
entrehueco entre el casquillo y el carter ( ca­
squillo aflojado) proveer a la sustituici6n.
ACOPLAMIENTO CARTER MOTOR
Vespa l 25 /VN l - VN 2 ; 150 /VL l - VL 2 - VL 3 -
VB l ; G. L./VGL l ; G. S./VS l - VS2 - VS3 - VS4 - VSS
l. - Lavar en gasolina el semicarter aun utilizable;
destornillar todos los esparragos de f1jaci6n ci-
lindro del semicarter sobredicho y del nuevo.
Acoplar los dos semicarters con todos los tor-
nillos, tuercas y arandelas.
2. - Montar el carter en el util T.0020865 completo
de plantilla T.0020867, luego ajustar el mandril
T. 0020868 en la posici6n que se indica a con-
tinuaci6n.
Meter el calibre T. 15363/C sobre la super-
ficie
«
a » del mandril.
El escariador 845133 debe rozar sobre la
oreja
«
C » el grado marcado por el numero
correspondiente al agujero « A »· del carter
original.
3. - Mediante el calibre T. 15364 /C ejecutar todas
las operaciones indicadas en la figura a la iz-
