J16, J17 Configuration of P1.6 and P1.7 for I²C Bus
Two I²C interface devices - a Real-Time Clock (RTC) at U13 and an
EEPROM at U12
- are available on the phyCORE-P8xC51Mx2.
These devices are connected via Jumpers J16 and J17 to port pins
P1.6 and P1.7. Use of these pins as standard I/O requires opening the
corresponding jumpers. Refer to section 7 and section 8 for details on
these I²C interface devices.
The following configurations are possible:

J19 RTC Interrupt
Jumper J19 determines if the interrupt output of the RTC (U13)
extends to port 3.2 (/INT0) or to port 3.3 (/INT1). Alternatively, these
port pins can be used as standard I/O signals at pins X1C1 and X1A2
of the phyCORE-connector. This requires opening Jumper J19.
The following configurations are possible:

The EEPROM at U12 is not supported in the current revision of the phyCORE-P8xC51Mx2
(1199.0). These jumpers are reserved for future versions of the module.
