Connector X7

The two-wire clamp X7 can be used to attach an external 9 V= - 16
V = power source to the J1850 Transceiver. To utilize this external
source jumper JP10 must be closed in position 1+2. At the time of
delivery jumper JP10 is closed at 2+3, i.e. the J1850 Transceiver is
supplied from the kitCON-161CS/JC/JI’s supply voltage.

Note:
To ensure full functionality of the J1850-bus the use of an external
power supply for the transceiver is recommended.
