mode Description
AUTO Automatically selects the best
Ambisound mode for your
video or music. Turned on by
default.
MULTI-
CHANNEL Immersive multi-channel
sound for an enhanced movie
experience.
STEREO Two-channel stereo sound.
Ideal for listening to music.
Play a disc
Your home theater can play a wide variety of
discs, ranging from video (Blu-ray, DVD, VCD) to
audio and even mixed media discs (for example,
a CD-R that contains JPEG pictures and MP3
music).

Press to open the disc compartment.

Insert a disc with its label facing forward.
On double-sided discs, place the label
you want to play facing forward.
The disc compartment closes

automatically. The disc plays or the
home theater enters the disc main
menu.
DISC appears on the display panel.

Moderate low-range and
strong mid-range. Ideal for
video games and party music.
SPORTS Moderate mid-range and
surround effects for clear
vocals and the atmosphere of
a live sport venue.
NEWS Enhanced mid-range for clear
vocals and speech.
