Knife position
Rule
1. There should be a clearance of
4 mm
between the knife edge and the needle.
2. The right edge of the knife

should not protrude beyond the right edge of the thread
catcher ( see arrow ).

Move the needle bar to b.d.c.

Slide the knife

under the locking tab and align according to
rule 1

Gently tighten the screw

O
Manually adjust the thread catcher carrier

until the cutting tip in the thread catcher is
positioned just in front of the knife edge.
O
Align the knife

according to
rule 2
and tighten the screw
