Loading the tube holder
In order to load the tube holder with the 2 ml tubes the white indented plate has to be removed. After
loading place the indented plate centred on the toric joint to hold down the tubes. The aglet provides for
a correct positioning of the indented plate. After starting a run a vacuum system will press the indented
plate onto the tubes which are fixed this way. To build up and keep the vacuum the toric joint has to be
clean, intact and properly positioned.
Note for Precellys
®
24-Dual: Use only one type of
tubes (2 ml or 7 ml) at the same time. The indented
plate 24 x 2 ml of the Precellys
®
24 cannot be used in
the Precellys
®
24-Dual and vice versa.
Starting a run
Close the safety lid of Precellys
®
24/Precellys
®
24-Dual
properly until the locking handle is locked.
Choose one of the programs from the main menu and
confirm the double cursor pointing on 'START' with
'valid'.
As long as the vacuum between tube holder and in-
dented plate is built up, the correlating message is
shown in the display.
This phase takes a few seconds.
