Place the Precellys
®
24/Precellys
®
24-Dual onto a stable and level surface. Although the system has
been manufactured in a most durable and solid way, resulting in a total weight of almost 30 kg, vibra-
tions can occur during operation. Therefore please avoid to place the Precellys
®
24/Precellys
®
24-Dual
close to devices/applications sensitive to any vibration (e.g. microscopy).
In order to provide optimal ventilation a minimum distance of 15 cm to the next device or to the wall
should be kept.
Before connecting the power cord check that the voltage switch lo-
cated at the back of the unit matches the voltage delivered by your
electric power supply.
Place the delivered toric joint onto the tube holder. Be careful of the
rubber ring not being porous or dirty.

ing the ON/OFF button located on the rear panel near
the AC power input.
A welcome screen is displayed for a few seconds sho-
wing the device name Precellys
®
24/Precellys
®
24-
Dual, the number of runs done by the device (R:) and
the operating time in minutes (T:) corresponding to
these runs.
Automatically the following basic menu is displayed
showing program 1 and program 2 with the last de-
fined parameters.
