Combinable parameters/Refractory period
For safe operation the system is allowing the following combinations of program parameters.
Refractory periods are rest times in which a consecutive run cannot be started. They prevent the system
from overheating. However, the risk of overheating only exists during extensive high throughput appli-
cations using Precellys
®
24. In addition system temperature is always monitored by a temperature sensor
which will shut off the motor if the temperature rises above the limit. Therefore, from firmware version
4.1 (12/2011) on refractory periods do not exist any more in Precellys
®
24-Dual and can be skipped
by pressing 'cancel' in Precellys
®
24.
The actual firmware version of the system is displayed when pressing 'cancel' for 10 sec after switching
on the unit.
