During function approximation, one must remember that
in the case of approximating curves that significantly deviate from linear
characteristics, the higher number of linearising sections, the lower
the linearisation error.
If the measured values are lower than X1, then the calculations
will be made based on the first straight line calculated based
on points (X1,Y1) and (X2,Y2). However, for values higher than Xn
(where n – the last declared measured value), the displayed value will
be calculated based on the linear function determined last.
Note
: All the entered points of the measured value (Yn) must be arran
-
ged in ascending order, so that the following dependence is true:
X1<X2<X3…<Xn
If the dependence specified above is not true, the individual
characteristic functions will be automatically switched off (will not
be performed) and a diagnostic flag will be set in the status register.
Individual characteristics are switched off by default. Parameters
of individual characteristics can be configured via keyboard as separate
groups of sub-menu:
