The condensate drain must not be directly connected to the sewage system (e.g. 
finishing freely in a hopper with a siphon at the sewer). 

Siphons can dry up! Water has to be refilled if: 

•

 

the device is commissioned 

•

 

the siphon makes noises (slurping) 

 

Ein dry siphon is recommended by PAUL Wärmerückgewinnung GmbH, particalur when
