When the location of the bearing mounts have been determined, they can be mounted to the corn head.

Depending upon which mount style you have (depending upon corn head make and model) use the clamp and the
bearing mount and fasten them together loosely using 5/8" bolts, washers, and nuts through the top holes and mount on
the top bar of the corn head in the determined location.
3.
Use the clamp plate as a template and mark the location of the mounting holes and drill the holes in the sheet metal.
4.
Once the holes are drilled, mount the bearing mount to the corn head using the 5/8" bolts, washers, and nuts.

Tighten the fasteners.
6. Attach 1-1/4" flange bearing to the bearing ear mount using the 1/2 x 1-/12" bolts and nuts.
7. Attach the bearing ear mount to the one eared bearing bracket using the 5/8 x 1-1/2" bolts and nuts. Mount the one
eared bearing bracket in the center pair of holes for a starting point.
8. Attach the idler clamp (Item 8) to the assembly by sliding the shaft through the bearing. The clamp can be mounted on
either side. Once in place, tighten the bearing onto the shaft.
9.
Repeat for the opposite side.
10.
Tighten all fasteners.
