1P1R
(Normal / 1 Pulse = 1 Revolution)
This type of revolution is the standard in our
sensor
-
1P2R
(Double / 1 Pulse = 2 Revolutions)
-
2P1R
(Half / 2 Pulses = 1 Revolution)
Types of Revolutions
If we choose one type or another they might not match the RPM of your engine, then we
would need to change the configuration to another type.
For example, if we choose the type
1P1R
and the revolutions in low – idling is between 1850
to 2300 we have chosen correctly.
On the other hand, if we choose
1P1R
and our revolutions speed in low – idling is 925 to
1150 we would need to choose the Double =
1P2R
We can have a totally different story if we choose
1P1R
and our revolutions in low – idling
are 3700 to 4600 then we would have to choose half =
2P1R
It is important to note that sometimes our engines have the RPM very low and it could be
there where the confusion lies, we must raise the idling and leave the carburetor well-adjus-
ted in low – idling.
