Verify the voltage indicated on the AC adapter complies with the AC line voltage in your area.

Operational hazard exists if AC adapters other than X-Rite SE30-377 is used.

Standard X-Rite Power Supply SE30-377 Connection (Wireless Charging Using the Docking
Station)

NOTE:

You can find detailed information about charging the device with the docking station in the

Troubleshooting Section.
1. Turn the docking station over and feed the cable from the power supply through the channel (1) at the back

of the station. If desired, you can also feed the cable through the channel (2) at the front of the station.

2. Plug the small plug into the input connector (3) on the bottom of the docking station.
3. Plug the detachable line cord in the power supply and plug the line cord into the wall receptacle.
Position the device on the docking station to charge. An indicator light (4) on the side of the docking station will
pulse blue. This is an indication that the device is properly seated and charging. The light will change to solid
blue once the battery is fully charged.
A charging indicator (5) is also located on the back of the device. This indicator will illuminate orange when the
battery is charging. The indicator will change to green when the battery is fully charged.
The docking station LED will change to blue when the battery is fully charged, and the charging indicator is off.

NOTE

: You can purchase an optional power supply or a USB power adapter with a USB-C style connector to

directly connect the device for charging. The optional power supply must be capable of an output at 5 VDC @

Optional Power Supply Connection (Wired Charging Using a Direct USB Cable Connection)

The eXact 2 device can also be charged using a USB-A or USB-C computer port or a USB charger.
1. Plug the USB-C connector (6) from the power supply into the port on the back of the device.
2. Plug the detachable line cord in the power supply and plug the line cord into the wall receptacle.
A charging indicator (5) on the back of the device will illuminate orange. This is an indication that the battery is
charging. The indicator will change to green when the battery is fully charged.

NOTE

: If the device is directly connected using a USB cable and placed on the connected docking station the

instrument is charged wirelessly and NOT over USB. The docking station has priority.
