3.3 Selecting the Source

3.3.1 Audio Follows Picture Sources

The audio inputs follow the picture connector inputs. The names of the connectors are different.

The audio connectors provide stereo inputs for each
of the four video inputs. Choosing Laptop from the
remote chooses the audio and video together.

These (optional) connectors are in the right-hand

section at the rear of the Panther.

The Variable Line Out connectors provide a way

to feed the audio to an external amplifier and speak-
ers. It is labeled “Variable” because the Panther’s vol-
ume control does affect this output level.

If you use the Digital connector for a picture source,
connect its audio to the Computer (Analog 1) connec-
tors. When you choose Digital in the Source Select
menu, the Computer audio connect is also selected.
