2.3 What You Will Do

This section is a checklist for people familiar with Panther installation. For others, it is also an outline

of the procedures, an overview of the complete setup. The numbers in parentheses are the pages

where the procedures are explained in detail.

Installation of a Panther

1. Remove the Panther from its shipping container

(page 8) and roll it into place.

2. Connect

a) AC power (14),
b) picture sources (16-26),
c) and audio sources (28).

Electronic setup

1. Select the source picture (38).
2. If using a computer source,

a) adjust to the computer’s picture levels (46)
b) and frequency and phase (46).

3. If using a video source, adjust color and bright-

ness, if necessary (48).

4. Select a “Color Temperature” for the picture (52).
5. Fit the picture to the screen (56).
6. Adjust the LCD position, if necessary (58).
7. Save your work (66).
