Playing discs
Preparation

Turn on the television and select the appropriate video
input to suit the connections to this unit.

Turn on this unit.

control to operate this unit.

above depending on disc types. Read the disc’s
instructions carefully.

It is not possible to play continuously from one side of a
double sided disc to the other. You will need to eject the
disc and turn it over.

Depending on the disc, it may take time for the menu
screen, pictures, sound, etc. to start.

Discs continue to rotate while menus are displayed. Press

] when you have finished playback to protect the unit’s
motor, your television screen and so on.

You can change the audio channel number each time you
press the button. This allows you to change things like the
soundtrack language.
[Note]
You cannot change the audio type when a DVD-R, DVD-R
DL, DVD-RW (DVD-Video format), +R, +R DL or +RW disc is
in the disc tray while DVD drive is selected.

If the recorded title is stretched vertically
If recorded to a DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RW (DVD-Video
format), +R, +R DL or +RW disc, 16:9 aspect image will
record as 4:3 images.

You may be able to adjust it by changing the display
mode on your television, please refer to the television’s
operating instructions.
