to select [ACTIVE FOCUS OPTIMIZER].
5) Press the <ENTER> button.

The [ACTIVE FOCUS OPTIMIZER] screen is displayed.

to select [FOCUS OFFSET SETUP].
7) Press the <ENTER> button.

The [FOCUS OFFSET SETUP] screen is displayed.
8) Press

to select [SETUP ASSISTANT].
9) Press the <ENTER> button.
f
If the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [LIGHT OUTPUT] is set to [100.0%], the internal focus test pattern of
signal level approximately 50 % is projected, and the [SETUP ASSISTANT] screen (page 1/8) is displayed.
Proceed to Step 11) .

If the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [LIGHT OUTPUT] is set to less than [100.0%], the confirmation
screen is displayed. Proceed to Step 10) .
10) Press
qw
to select [NEXT], and press the <ENTER> button.

Even if the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [LIGHT OUTPUT] is set to less than [100.0%], the projector will
operate with the [100.0%] setting while [SETUP ASSISTANT] is executing. Once [SETUP ASSISTANT] is
completed, it will return to the original [LIGHT OUTPUT] setting value.

After confirming the confirmation message, press
qw
to select [NEXT], and press the <ENTER>
button. The internal focus test pattern of signal level approximately 50 % is projected, and the [SETUP
ASSISTANT] screen (page 1/8) is displayed.

To cancel the setting by [SETUP ASSISTANT], press
qw
to select [CANCEL], and press the <ENTER>
button. [SETUP ASSISTANT] is cancelled, and the [FOCUS OFFSET SETUP] screen is displayed.
11) Wait until [Waiting time] turns [0s].

Wait until the focus is stabilized.
f
When the [Waiting time] turns [0s], the [Please wait...] message disappears, and [NEXT] becomes
selectable.
12) Press

to select [NEXT], and press the <ENTER> button.

The [SETUP ASSISTANT] screen (page 2/8) is displayed.

It will return to previous screen by selecting [BACK] and pressing the <ENTER> button.
13) Press

to select [FOCUS POSITION].

button to adjust the focus.

The items will switch each time you press the button.
[INTERNAL] Select this item when using the internal test pattern for focus adjustment.
[EXTERNAL]
Uses the input image from the external device for focus adjustment. If the level of [Brightness of the
image] falls below the specified value, [NEXT] cannot be selected. When the bright image with a
brightness level indicated in the menu screen (OSD) or greater is input, [NEXT] can be selected.
18) Press

to select [NEXT], and press the <ENTER> button.

19) Wait until [Waiting time] turns [0s].
