1-4. NEW DD CYLINDER UNIT
Three phases sensor-less RDD system instead of Matsushita original GLDD/UDD system is adopted for standardization.

NOTE:
Replacing only Upper Cylinder unit of RDD cannot be performed, as securing of RT gap is impossible in a place
other than factory, replace the cylinder as a whole RDD Cylinder Unit. The PG Shifter Adjustment shown in item
1-3 should be performed after replacement of the DD Cylinder.
FEATURE
1. The RDD corresponds to 2 ~ 10 Heads.
2. Thickness of Upper Cylinder and Lower Cylinder becomes thin.
3. Adoption of standard parts in the VTR world.
4. Miniaturization of the Rotary Transformer.
