Battery Calibration

Preliminaries

There are two procedures associated with battery calibration:
1.

Battery Temperature.

2.

Battery Voltage Calibration.

A dummy battery (Part No. JT00059) is required to perform these checks
1.

Connect the dummy battery to phone as shown below.

Temperature Calibration

1.

Set the power supply voltage to exactly 3.6 V.

2.

Enter Test Set mode on the Service Channel Box.

3.

Power up the phone, press Shift F10.

4.

Select 3.9 k

Ω

resistor value on the dummy battery.

5.

Scroll down and select CONTROL OUT. Using the left-right cursor keys, select BVOLT and press ENTER.
